Splash of the Dice
One of the things I like to do to improve my photography skills is read tons of articles and watch lots of videos. PhotoGavin has a whole mess of videos on YouTube with some helpful tips on lots of photography topics. Recently I watched on on capturing the splash of a dice as it hit water. Now, I didn’t bother to construct my setup as elaborately as he did. I didn’t have the time or the equipment. However, with a bit of trial and error, I got a few good shots but only one that I “really” like (and even then not near as much as I would if I had a better setup). The up side though is that I learned more about using a speedlite with my camera which is an area I need to focus more on. Here is the result:
Nice shot, and well captured. You do loose a number of images to poor timing, or learn to count well 🙂
Agree but it is hard to count to less than 1 😉
